Visita a Blanca

El pasado 5 de diciembre Monbabel organizó una visita guiada a la ciudad de Blanca (Murcia) con el principal objetivo de conocer la obra de Pedro Cano que se expone en la fundación que lleva su nombre. La visita resultó ser muy interesante y las explicaciones detalladas de Alfonso, guía del museo, nos ayudaron a comprender mejor la obra de este excelente pintor murciano y además nos relató múltiples anécdotas que hicieron el paseo un verdadero placer. Los cuadros, por su maestría, ya hablan por si solos pero si además se conoce la 'intrahistoria' de los mismos, mejor que mejor. On December 5th, Monbabel organized a guided tour to Blanca (Murcia); the main reason for this visit was to introduce the works of Pedro Cano (Spanish painter) to some of our students. The trip was most interesting and the detailed explanations given by Alfonso, guide at the museum, helped us understand the works of this excellent artist. Apart from the 'art lessons' we were given, our guide also told us many anecdotes related to the different paintings on display. The paintings themselves already tell us much however if one also knows 'what was behind and around them'while they were being created, even better.
